NEW ACTIVITIES

If you have an idea for a new activity for Newcomers members, please contact C.H. & Becky Crutchfield, 554-9750 rhcrutchfield@msn.com.

All ideas welcome!

Explorers and Day Trippers are both in need of new coordinators. Explorers was created to give us exposure to the many Austin-area attractions that help make it such a special place: the Capitol, museums, parks, etc. Day Trippers takes on interesting out-of-town destinations which have recently included the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station and the holiday lights and sites of Fredericksburg.

Right now, both groups are dormant for lack of coordinators to organize the activities. But what better way to get to know the area? If you'd like to consider leading either activity, please contact C.H. & Becky Crutchfield.

GET THE PICTURE?

If you're good with a camera and are a regular participant in Newcomers activities, your talents are needed. Jim Powell has done a wonderful job as our photographer, providing great shots for the website and a marvelous presentation at the January BBQ event. But it's time for someone else to take over. Please contact Jim to explore the possibility, 263-0609
