printed version and saving the club several hundred dollars. HOLIDAY GALA: IT'S ALL NEW! With all this warm weather it's hard to imagine, but it's time to announce the biggest, most special Newcomers party of the year! This year's Holiday Gala is all new and sure to be a truly memorable evening. We've reserved the beautiful River Place Country Club and worked with them to develop a fabulous dinner menu. The band we've hired plays all styles of music and the mirrored, holiday-festive ballroom provides a sparkling environment for dancing and listening. Make your reservations early, break out your party clothes (don't forget your dancing shoes) and join the celebration as we welcome the holidays in style!

BUNCO The regular third-Monday Bunco will not take place this month due to Thanksgiving. Plans for a special couples' Bunco night are being explored. Details to come.POKER Strictly low-stakes and high-fun with zany games like Dr. Pepper, In-Between and Night Baseball. Occasionally draw or stud even gets called. This event always fills up fast, so reserve your chair early! But new players, including beginners, are certainly welcome. It's "5-Deck Partners Pass" with a $3 buy- in and chance to win cash prizes. Takes place on Tuesdays at either The Hills Ladies Locker Room or Flintrock Falls Trophy Room. Three rounds plus optional lunch. Space is limited so sign-up early.Date: Tuesday, November 1, 15, and 29 (Newcomers traditionally play the first, third and fifth Tuesday, but there's usually a game every Tuesday, and all are welcome.)
