Membership The LMGA would not be successful without the help of the pro shop staff at Live Oak and Yaupon. Ron Miller, Van Johns and Mike Mallett manage to keep their sense of humor while treating all of us as valuable members. 2011 Larry and Hal will be planning some interesting events in the upcoming year. Each uses money taken from the tournament draw (20% of entry fees) to provide incentives to play. Hal has lunch and beer after play on the weekdays several times a year. Larry buys players a beer after play and sponsors closest to the pin for Saturday events. We will again have a member event like the Spring Classic with lunch and enhanced prizes. The Member-Member and Club Championship are promoted by the LMGA in association with the LCC. For members that enjoy match play, this event will be repeated perhaps with a larger field. So come out, meet some new people and enjoy a day on the course.
