The Lakeway Civic Corporation

...... administers proceeds from a Trust Fund established with $200
from the original sale of each lot sold in Lakeway. Through the years these proceeds have funded:
- The first Volunteer Fire Department
- Lakeway's first Security Patrol (forerunner of the Lakeway Police
Department)
- The first 24-hour police dispatch service
- Street signs and lighting and beautified the entrance
- The extensive recreational lane system along the main thoroughfares
- Lakeway Pool Project

area projects are considered by the Directors of the Lakeway Civic
Corporation. To request consideration for funds please print the
request form and submit it to the Lakeway Civic Corporation by
mail or by email.

........ owned and maintained all of the parks in Lakeway until they
were transferred to the City of Lakeway.
........ produces the Lakeway Resident's
Directory with its listing of residential telephone numbers, along with a listing of organizations
and "frequently called numbers," and a business advertisement section. The directory is given to
all residents free of charge.
