Parking Regulations
Due
to increased traffic within the City, a City Ordinance has
been passed (July 23, 1999) which prohibits parking on any portion
of the following streets:
Lakeway Boulevard
Lakeway Drive
Lohmans Crossing Road
Hurst Creek Road
Parking regulations remain unchanged for other streets within the
City. On all other streets, if the shoulder of the is so narrow that
the entire vehicle cannot be parked on it, the vehicle may encroach
up to 18 inches onto the paved surface of the road. In no case can the road be blocked to emergency
vehicles.
As a reminder, it is unlawful to park any truck, bus, trailer, mobile home, recreational
vehicle, boat, houseboat or similar waterborne vehicle on any public right-of-way.
